These are some parts of my personal notes that I took from several books, authors, philosophers, designers, directors, etc. They mean a lot while I am reading/watching and I hope you find some pieces that mean to yourself too!

the kiss and shutter island

     Adaptation of some famous paintings to movie scenes, video clips have become common in the contemporary era. Gustav Klimt's  The Kiss  painting and Martin Scorsese's  Shutter Island movie  hugging scene is the painting - mise-en-scène adaptation I will mention about. rhythm 0 or death of humanity

       “..I will stand for 6 hours. You can do whatever you want to me with these objects. I take responsibility for what will happen.”       The sentence above was a note written on Marina Abramović's body during her Rhythm 0 performance.    Marina Abramović is a Serbian conceptual and performance artist, philanthropist, writer, and filmmaker. Her work explores body art, endurance art, and feminist art; the relationship between the performer and audience, the limits of the body, and the possibilities of the mind.      Rhythm 0  was a six-hour work of performance art by Abramović in Naples in 1974. The work involved her standing still while the audience was invited to do to her whatever they wished, using one of 72 objects she had placed on a table.  This table contained all sorts of random items, from flowers to chocolate cakes, from chains to knives. oscar wilde and de profundis

         In my opinion, one of the brightest, bravest, and idiosyncratic writer is Oscar Wilde. His distinctive sarcastic, sometimes cold, but often heartfelt voice makes me finish his books in one fell swoop. Oscar Wilde is an Irish writer who lived in the late Victorian era in Britain. Considering the rigidity of the people, the country, and the queen in the Victorian era, Oscar Wilde cuts this harsh and sharp period into pieces with his pen. Also, he is a writer who only manages to turn the country upside down with his aestheticism based ideas and life, his many theatre plays and one single novel which is The Picture of Dorian Gray. Unfortunately, he generally stands out for his homosexuality rather than his authorship. However, for me, it is a certain and well-known fact that no personal situation can overshadow his mind, outlook on life, and the cleverness of his writings.
